For eleven years I ran the best little burlesque place, built from nothing but my undiagnosed ADHD, pure nerve, and exceptionally good lighting.
I did it, and it was fun. It was also completely unhinged, in the best and worst ways.
The VVR has closed now. The open roads and travel are calling, and some of what used to happen under stage lights or behind backstage curtains ... lives here instead — the good stuff, the archives, the new stuff, the unhinged shenanigans you know and love to hate me for.

Yes, this is my real life. On top of all the nonsense above, I’m also a life partner. A wife. A mother. A grandmother. A neighbour. Someone’s ex-wife. Someone’s ex-best friend. Someone’s best friend. Someone who’s remembered, and someone who’s forgotten.
I’m a whole human being underneath the stage lights — some like it spicy, some like it normal — and it’s perfectly A-OK to like all of it, some of it, or nothing in between.
